Everything I do, I do with intention. Intention is a subtle yet powerful energetic vibration that resonates with the universe, reverberating our aim, wish, goal we'd like to manifest - back to us & precedes our actions. It's bigger than thought because often times there is a deep-seated emotion or desire behind it. Even if just subconsciously. I often set & reset my intentions according to how I feel because I understand that my emotions are just information there to guide my way as I navigate this thing called life. Literally from the moment, I wake up until I go to sleep - I take a moment to pause and set my intention for what it is I want, need, etc. This supports my journey to living a more purpose-driven life and keeps me in better alignment for the (wo)manifesting the things I desire... even if it's as simple as setting the intention for how I want to feel at any given moment.
I also understand that when something is forme, it feels good in my mind, body & soul, and when it is not for me the opposite is true. This does not mean that lower vibrational emotions are not meant for me to learn from though; because everything can serve our awakening if we let it. To the contrary, by feeling what we do NOT want, we can use this a gauge to strengthen & solidify what we DO want. ANd send out intentions based on those (positive) desires instead.
There are many different ways to set intentions. Including meditation, prayer, a moment of stillness or quiet contemplation to connect to our desires more deeply and mindfully (our higher selves). Remember any intention we set in motion, (that energetic vibration of energy) ripples back to us in our lives. So take your time, sit with yourself and contemplate what you truly feel and what you really want and if it's in alignment with who you are deep down - it will surely ripple back to you in your life. At least that is what I know to be true.
Earlier this year I found a powerful prayer of intention, that I recite before each meditation, daily. I also recently recited it online and was asked to share it. I am finding that as I delve more into my personal power & deeper into my journey, that sharing things that are deeply personal is nothing new, but that I've been doing that thru music (and poetry) for a very long time. It is not only cathartic & healing for me, but healing and inspirational for others and I am honored to share it with you too.
This prayer is inspired by an original prayer by Anne Ribley from a book called Pray Everyday, by Reverend Emma Lisa Hill. I've edited it and also added affirmations to make it my own, as per my intentions. I also changed a few things linguistically to further align with my vibration, as know that words & sounds have power, and give birth to creation - so I am super mindful & specific of the words I speak over myself & others (especially when setting intentions).
My wish is that this powerful prayer bring about positive change in your life as it has done for me. Say it whenever you'd like, or maybe even copy and paste it into your phone you can always have it with you.

Powerful Prayer of Intention:
I am healed. I am whole. I am abundant.
I am the abundant overflow of God.
I am the wealth of the universe, and I identify myself with pure prosperity in all endeavors, big & small.
I am divine and I identify myself with love; deeply and fully in love.
I identify myself with purpose. I am on purpose with my life, today and every day. And a life full of purpose finds me exactly what is perfect for me.
I let go and shift into a repose of certainty & utmost confidence. I surrender into a greater KNOWING.
I exercise patience and consciously choose my energy to resonate with. I know what is mine will claim me and rush to me.
The Presence of God is within me. The Mind of God is my mind. The freedom of God, the Universal Loving Presence, that's the Source of my existence and It fills me with grace, joy, and gratitude.
I bestow the essence of my original knowing that originates in love and brilliance upon everything.
Everyone I meet shall be lovely. I see others through the eyes of God. I see myself thru the eyes of God. I am one with God, and my soul meets the soul of the Universe in everyone.
This love that I feel is a healing power touching everything into wholeness. I am one with the rhythms of life.
I am magical. I am magnificent. I am magnetic.
I release all the does not serve me. I vibrate at the highest frequency. And align with that which serves my highest, greatest good.
I live in the peace of my true Source. I live in the peace & power that God is over all, in all, and through all. God, the Divine Source is right where I am. Always. All ways. There is no separation. I am the fullest truest expression of God.
I am at peace with the world in which I live. I am at home with the DIVINE spirit.
There is nothing I cannot be. Nothing I cannot do. Nothing I cannot have.
l merge myself deeper into the original knowing meant for my life.
I relax into my essence.
